Designed and implemented a serial number/lot control system that enabled a successful award of a multi-million dollar military rework contract. Promoted to Senior Engineer to work in the Supplier Quality Group, supervising the technology transfer of two multi-million dollar contracts from west coast facilities to our east coast plant. This success lead to a subsequent promotion to Resident Representative managing Quality Assurance and liaison relations in Italy for Douglas Aircraft Division. Eliminated numerous manufacturing and quality hurdles by becoming the only foreign resident representative to learn the host language, while increasing production, contract compliance, diplomatic relations and respect for the American contingency.
